After-hours and overflow: the calls nobody can take

A voicemail loses the customer. A voice agent answers evenings, weekends and busy moments, handles what it can on its own and reports the rest in the morning, with the transcript.

Two ways to route the calls

Both are ordinary forwarding rules on the PBX: the agent is just a SIP destination. If you do not have a PBX, register the number on the platform and let the agent answer always, with the transfer tool pointing to the on-call phone.

What the agent handles alone

The morning after

Every call is in the dashboard with its transcript and outcome. The webhook can post each call into your CRM, a shared mailbox or a chat channel, so the team starts the day with a list instead of a full voicemail.

Cost of coverage

You pay the minutes actually used, per second, from the plan. A practice taking twenty after-hours calls a week of two minutes each uses about 160 minutes a month, within the Starter plan.

Frequently asked questions

Can the agent tell callers it is outside opening hours?

Yes, write it in the prompt. It can also tell them when you reopen and offer to book or take a message.

Does it work with my existing PBX?

Yes, any PBX that can send a SIP call to a URI: Asterisk, FreeSWITCH, Kamailio, 3CX and others. See the PBX guide.

Can I use different agents at different times?

Yes. Each agent has its own SIP URI; the PBX decides which one to call.
