An AI receptionist that answers the phone
Most small businesses lose calls: the line is busy, the office is closed, everyone is with a customer. A voice agent picks up every time, in the caller's language, and does what a receptionist would do: answers questions, takes bookings, passes urgent calls to a person.
What the agent does on the phone
You describe the business in the agent's prompt: who you are, opening hours, what you offer, how to handle the usual requests. The agent answers with that knowledge, listens to the caller and keeps the conversation going. Speech recognition, the language model and the synthetic voice are included: nothing to assemble.
- Answers in six languages and switches automatically when the caller speaks another one.
- Reads and writes data in your systems through HTTP tools: calendar, CRM, order status.
- Transfers the call to a fallback number when the caller asks for a person or the request is outside its scope.
- Sends a report at the end of every call: transcript, duration, outcome.
Connecting it to your phone line
Each agent has its own SIP URI. You can point an existing PBX to it, register a number you already have with the SIP account your operator gave you, or request a new geographic number from the dashboard. The agent then answers calls on that number like any extension.
No telephony to run on your side: the switchboard, the audio processing and the models run on the platform, hosted in Switzerland.
A typical setup for a practice or a shop
- Prompt with opening hours, address, services and prices, and the rule "if the caller insists on speaking to someone, transfer".
- A GET tool that returns free appointment slots and a POST tool that books one.
- The existing number pointed to the agent, with a human fallback number for transfers.
- The end-of-call webhook feeding the transcript into your CRM.

Frequently asked questions
Does the caller know it is an AI?
That is up to the prompt. Most businesses let the agent introduce itself as an assistant. You can hear how it sounds by calling the demo agent on the home page.
What happens when the agent cannot help?
It uses the built-in transfer tool to hand the call to the fallback number you set, or takes a message and reports it in the end-of-call webhook.
Can I keep my current phone number?
Yes. Either point your PBX to the agent's SIP URI or register the number on the platform with the SIP account from your operator.
